OH! How I wish you knew the satisfaction...the happiness...the JOY...that this brings me! This playroom redo is finally coming to an end, and the pure euphoria that flows through me when I enter this room is simply indescribable.
BUT, I'm not there yet. I'll save you all the sappiness until my final playroom post.
Today, I'll talk about this wall.
To be honest, I really intended on creating a picture gallery on this wall...I even had the thrifted frames dusted off and ready to go, but at the last minute I scratched it and went in another direction.
Instead, I gathered up several bold fabric pieces and as many antique wooden pants hangers I could find.
Because I knew the fabric and hanger weren't going to be that heavy, I opted to use Command hooks. (Surely I've told you how much I love these things...)
I didn't do much measuring. I more so concentrated on spacing, making sure they were all about 2 inches apart.
But, then I realized my fabric was sagging on the corners, so I....
cut up a few strips of cardboard and glued them to the back of my fabric with spray adhesive.
Perfect, easy fix.

This is a marvelous idea! I might copy it to display some of my vintage linens. My father-in-law had a closet full of those hangers and I was going to donate them to Goodwill. Now, I'm going to donate them to ME!
