The Chair Wall (for the nursery)

You haven't forgotten about my love of wooden chairs, have you?
Surely not.
Because they're up there...right along with the wire baskets and the thick, wooden frames and, you guessed it... the mason jars.

This was the one wall I've known about for years...the one I've been picturing in my mind over and over again. I didn't know exactly my precise placement, but I knew my thrift collection of chairs had to be on the wall.

I started with butcher paper, to help me visualize.

Then, hung them securely with anchors and hooks.

And once they were there, I realized they'd be a great way to display a few things, too.

And, so, I guess that's it.
It's done.
Another room, complete.

All that's left now is the final tour...
so stay tuned.

  2. SUCH a creative idea!!! I love how they are displayed and I also love how you can hook them right off when needed.

I'm like you with decorating ideas that float around for years until the timing is just right. It is SUCH satisfaction when you can get it OUT of your head and up on the wall!!!

  4. Super cute. I saw another diy project were u dipped the bottom of the chair legs (2-4 inches) in paint that was a different color. That would look really cool displayed on the wall.

  6. Oh wow. This is so unique and yet, I am so drawn to it. I love that you can use them as shelves for things lol. Do you ever hit your head on them? ;) I'm keeping this in mind for future decorating plans.
