Gram's Shelves

So, when we first started in Gram's room, this was the condition of his shelves...

Since then, I've made some changes...

The chalkboard paint I showed you earlier in the week worked wonders, and it was exactly what I was hoping for...something I can change whenever I please by simply erasing.

Hahahaha...and there's a lot more where that came from....
On to the next project.

Wednesday Redo: Vintage Sheets Quilt

Oh, how I wish I had the patience for this. I've accumulated quite a few fabulous sheets over the years...

and this- more than ever- makes me sad I still have them all folded up on a shelf...

Be sure to check out Blessed Serendipity to swoon a bit more!

Wednesday Redo: Book Headboard

Wow. This makes me happy on so many levels.
I adore this idea.

It makes me want to go out and create my own super creative headboard idea!
(Which is exactly what I need to be doing right now, by the way...)

The Goodwill Quilt.

Yeah.
Seriously.
I know.
Who in their right mind would ever give such a thing up?

This is what I'm talking about, people!
THIS is why we thrift.

This is why I will go back...and back...and back again.

Thank the Lord for a thrift store.

Welcome to Annie's House

I've had so much fun showing you a bit of Annie's home. It's pretty phenomenal, if you ask me. There's so many elements that I adore...and so many more that you haven't even seen yet! Of course, now that we'll be just around the corner, it'll be easy to snag a few pics of her next party- or redo... :)
In fact, I bet you'll be seeing a lot more Annie to this blog!

Welcome to Annie's: Master

Hope y'all had a good break! We had such a great time...the beach, the pool and unlimited shopping is certainly my kind of break!

So, back to Annie's...
You'll notice right away her red, white and blue theme in this room.
She is so good with pattern. I love how she's thrown in so many and yet, they all work so well.

My favorite is this funny, old "Antiques" sign she found at a local shop...that sits right above her bed.

It's so pretty at any point in the day. You can sit and watch all the boats go by right from the window...or if you're anything like me, take a quick, little snooze. *smile*

Home Tour: The Master Bedroom

I will proudly admit, that roughly 85% of this room is made up of thrifted or handmade goods. The hunt was always a thrill.

Luckily for Grady and I, it's the darkest room in our house...which, of course, makes it quite difficult to get any really good photos. Hopefully you're able to get the gist.
