I've been dying to to show you what's been going on in the nursery! So, I'm thrilled to share with you my next finished project in the room...a display center.
Here's an empty frame I found at the thrift store years ago...recycled from the previous decor in the room.
I was easily able to attach a few strips of twine with a staple gun...
...which came out looking like this from the front.
Then I clipped on the old flashcards from the flea market, that used to hang in Ross's nursery, as well as one of my husband's very first baby sweaters.
It's pretty amazing how something so simple can have so much meaning.
Total cost: less than $5.
how sweet... and special! although, i've gotta say, it's hard to imagine that grady (or any of us, really) was ever that size :)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love it.... Sweet and Simple...
ReplyDeletei have an empty frame and have been wanting to do something with it. great idea...thanks!
ReplyDeleteI just did this for multiple reasons. First was to display photos of my girly throughout the year for her first bday party on Saturday. Second was our new house will not allow me space for photo display on the fridge so I will hang the frame in our breakfast room. It's great that it makes changing it up so easy. I got cute laundry clips from etsy since I didn't have time to make my own. PS I love your blog and am a new devoted follower. :)
ReplyDeleteI've got me some flash cards and a cute tiny white sweater, but I'm out of impending babies!
