This might have been my most favorite part to decorate!
Ross's Room: same wooden furniture from the thrift stash, leftover Granny square bedspread, scrapbook paper walls...
...and a few miscellaneous wall hangings I found around the house, held in place by Command strips.
The Playroom: Wrapping paper wall, handmade bunting from scrapbook paper and thread, Granny square rug, and a few toys from an old "Frisher Price" dollhouse.
Gram's Room: Scrapbook paper wall, more wood furniture- painted (along with the "Fisher Price" stuff), another Granny square, a simple scabble tile (how fabulous that there just happens to be the number 2 on it as well!) and a customized frame for the wall.
Maybe you remember that quote...:)
...more on how I did that super easy frame soon...

SOOOO cute!!! i loved your "rugs" and today this post reminded me i had some pieces that were intended as dish cloths that my great aunt made. they were too pretty to use and she passed away a couple years ago and they are all i have that were hers and she was so special to me, so i couldn't likely dry my dishes with them! i pulled them out and they are now rugs in the dollhouse i gave emmy this week for her bday. i did paper in the back like yours, and painted it white, and painted some furniture.... and we are on our way to getting there! i LOVE the bunting and need to do that! :) here is emmy's if you want to see it...

DeleteAdorable!!! My fav rooms do far too! PS: Did u know that the R in scrabble is "1"? How fun is that?
ReplyDeleteShut up! Are you serious! How crazy!!! Thanks for that!
DeleteCute cute cute. My son built in a dollhouse in my grand daughters room, this is making me want to run over there and decorate it. But it also has to be Ninja Turtle friendly because she does what her big brother does right now.

Ha! Ha! I guess then, it's inevitable that baby Gram will be in the princesses and tea parties...

I just found this exact dollhouse at Goodwill for $25! It's not painted and missing the porch roof but I can manage! So excited to do something like you've done here! No idea if you even get on here anymore but you're still inspiring!!!
