A Thrifted Nativity Set

I found this nativity set at a thrift store for just over $3 . . .

and thought it might be fun to spray it with a bit of paint . . .

Turns out I was wrong . . .

it was way fun!

  6. Love it! I have been thrifting for a Nativity set, too. there are some seriously ugly and scary ones out there ! Joseph is not supposed to look scary and mean! Painting them white or silver would really help. ~ Christie

  7. This is brilliant! I looked forever (and spent too much) for one that fit our decor... Yours is clever and gorgeous! I pinned you for a future decor prompt. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

  10. Not wrong, just the wrong color perhaps. If they were a creamy white they'd look like Lenox figurines. Worth it to take the risk. Good job. Jo @ Let's Face the Music

  11. Hi, you linked up under the ongoing giveaway linky at Bacon Time. The anything goes linky is Fri-monday and the winter linky is on the right side bar with pic link. I will delete it but hope you come back. I love nativity sets.

  12. You are cracking me up. I thought...how could you not love it? :) I have been looking for one of those large yard Nativity sets that are plastic and pretty ugly to spray paint. Thanks for sharing!
