So, I ran across this bag of goodies last week at the thrift store...immediately drawn to the color.
I first thought, oh fun! a bag full of tiny embriodery hoops...
or maybe little frames?
but, upon examining them further, I realized that wasn't so.
After researching the cabone rings, I found that they are some sort of knitting accessory...but I just can't figure out the colored hoops.
I'm at a loss.
But, I thought, for $1, they can surely be used for something!
Any thoughts?
Surely somebody out there's seen these before?
Pin It Now!
if they could be turned into drawer pulls that would rock!
ReplyDeleteWOW! That is a cool idea! I never would have thought of that!
Deletemake a mobile, a chandelier, or a dream catcher
ReplyDeleteohhh! I like the idea of a chandelier...or maybe something cool in my little girls room!
DeleteThey look like hoops you would use to make macrame wall hangings from.
ReplyDeleteMacrame was another thought I had too! That would be pretty cool!
Deletethey are tiny frames - they came with cross stitch kits ---- i have bags of them myself, because I always stitched the finishes into stuff ornaments
ReplyDeleteThat makes sense...must be another ring that fits on the inside that I don't have...??
DeleteI remember them also with little stitch kits...have a couple of Christmas ornaments I think from DIY Aunts of the 1970's!
ReplyDeleteString them up on fishing line and hang them as a screen or room divider (sort of like a macrame screen would be). Would look great on a porch.
ReplyDeletethat WOULD be cool! great idea!!
DeleteMaybe they are for some macramé project? :)
ReplyDeletewould be cute in a play room hanging from the ceiling at different length with fishing twine....or over a little kid's reading nook....maybe take the hooks off?
ReplyDeleteYou could connect them together for a divider.....vertical picture display....
