Holly, do you have any fabulous ideas for up-cycling Longaberger baskets. I have so many and they are not worth much in value, so I would like to make them more trendy. Any suggestions?
hmmm....ideas that pop out... -spray paint them -collection on dining table for centerpiece...maybe filled with mason jars & fresh flowers -depending on size, possible receptables for organizing closets, drawers, pantry or crafts
Holly, I have a black leather(?) and metal futon that is extremely uncomfortable and very boring. I can't bring myself to get rid of it, so I desperately want to find new life for it. We currently have it dressed up as a very uncomfortable bed (and covered in laundry waiting to be folded) but I thought I'd ask around for some ideas. Here's a link with a picture of it: http://www.amazon.com/Dorel-Home-Products-Delaney-Sleeper/dp/B004LQ1QN4/?qid=1316562857&ref=sr_1_13&ie=UTF8&sr=8-13 What would you do?
Have you tried dressing it up with some fun pillows? Urban Outfitters always have some fun ones...or if you wanna splurge, go for Anthropologie- you won't ever go wrong there. Pillows really work wonders!!
Found you via Pinterest and can I tell how refreshing it is to see ORIGINAL inspiration! I love it that your tutorials aren't impossible and completely do-able. Your home is amazing and unique; glad it doesn't look like everybody else's out there! A loyal follower for sure! Ahhh....fresh breath!
Just wanted to drop a line to let you know that I love you unique ideas. The way you decorate has a way of showing your personal tastes. I love unique and showing what you like and not having to have the show piece - look at home. Beautiful..... nancy - WV
I just love your laundry room. You are very creative in your ideas. I am interested in making some changes to my laundry room and need to know if you purchased the short white rod to the right of your picture. I would love that to hang my hangers on. Please let me know the information about that white rod. I would thoroughly appreciate it. Thanks, Mimi. Please email me at dememed@aol.com
Hi - I love your blog. We have mutual friends (Kristen Petersen and her mom). What flea market do you go to? I love the big initials at the bottom of your recent post. Thanks.
Hi Holly This is a random question but I am looking for a creative way to document my 2 year old daughters growth on the wall each year. I don't want to just buy one of those pre made ones you can use. I wanted something more creative. Do you use anything or have any ideas? THanks Christy Delany-Richardson

Hi Holly, I love your blog. Most of all, I love that you appreciate the creative talents of women of the past. Every time I see an intricately crocheted bedspread or tablecloth or afghan in an antique store (being sold for a pittance), I think of the woman who lovingly created it for someone special. It breaks my heart for it to have ended up there.............but then along comes someone like you who APPRECIATES the hard work and love that went into it!!!!!
