I was thrilled when my sister-in-law and I found these shutters a few weeks ago (for $2 a piece)! I had just in mind where to put it!
I put the "shoe box" underneath in the hopes that maybe Grady and I would remember to take our shoes off once in a while (considering we have a toddler rolling around on the floor half the time . . . and the very thought of public restroom floor remanence in my child's mouth makes me completely ill).
I have to admit, it's worked out pretty darn well. :)
