There's been an addition . . . and it's a kitchen . . . in the kitchen.
Let me just start by saying Grady and I have been blessed tremendously to have 2 fabulously handy fathers. Grady's dad didn't even blink an eye when I asked him to copy this a few months ago. And, it was absolutely no surprise that it came out even more incredible than I had imagined it.
Annie played a pretty big part as well, sewing and painting and fixing up old baby doll high chairs . . .
Surely you haven't forgotten that perfect little shelf . . .
or the little brown mirror I found a few days ago?
I still can't believe how perfect those finds were.
At one time, I wondered if it might be hard to part with the cozy little seating area we once had here . . .
until I began to see this sweet little image day in and day out.
And, now, I really can't imagine anything better.

ReplyDeleteThe attention to detail takes this play kitchen way over the top of all the others I have seen. The little shelf and dishes, the cookbooks on the fridge, even the dish towel on the oven door are unique and so fantastically fun. Your family will be making sweet memories here for many years to come!

ReplyDeleteAdorable....It looks so real, I am going to ask this silly question does the sink work?
ReplyDeleteHe! He! That would be great . . . but unfortunately the sink does not work! :)
ReplyDeleteTwo kitchens in one home? That's radical! That place looks so nice, too; colorful, like a cafe. Hehe, while the sink doesn't work, it kinda makes you think of the possibilities if it was functioning, yeah? By the way, was the place inspired by an actual kitchen?
ReplyDeleteA kitchen within a kitchen? “Kitchen”-ception! Haha! And you’re right – it does look better than the kitchen you chose as inspiration! Shame the sink doesn’t actually work though, hehe! How much fun would your little sweetheart have playing in that kitchen if it did?
ReplyDeleteGood daу! I сould have swοrn I've been to this blog before but after reading through some of the post I realized it's new to me.
ReplyDeleteNonethelеss, I'm definitely glad I found it and I'll be book-marking and chеcking back frequently!
