Old Wooden Children's Desk

Annie actually found this desk years ago as a temporary sewing desk replacement (since my sewing desk ended up in Ross's room).  If I recall correctly, she said it was $10.  Pop, Ross's grand daddy, built a whole new top for it.

Well, since I purchased a desk at IKEA for my sewing table a few months back, this desk had been sitting and needed a new home.  I caught wind that my nephew needed a desk in his room and knew it'd be a perfect match!

  7. I like the way you painted and then distressed it. Did you just use the color it came in for the first layer, or paint it twice?

  8. I spray painted a couple times in white . . . but sanded down to the wood to get that distressed look.
