A Christmas Dining Room

I do love a colorful Christmas.
It wasn't quite as noticeable last year...or the year before...but I do love a colorful Christmas.

I changed it up and found a new spot for the paint chip garland I sewed a couple years back...which happened to be some of the same colors I used to make the paint chip paper chain hanging above the stockings. (More on that later.)

And, the whole set up turned out to be the perfect spot to highlight all the Christmas cards coming in.

  1. so fun! i love al the colors, holly!

    1. Thanks, Cassie!! Hope you guys have a WONDERFUL holiday!

  2. I sort of had the same mental shift this year. Five years ago ... color was everywhere! Then, the past two years, it's been white lights, burlap wrapping paper, and clipped greens. Not sure when or why, but I was back into the color this year.

I have one psychological hypothesis for the shift. Those two years I was pregnant or had a one-year old. I think my mind needed CALM! This year, I have toddlers ... and it's all about fun! What do you think?!?!

    Looks great!

    1. hahaha! You could be right about that! It's fun to change it up regardless! :)

  3. Looks great! Love the skinny, colorful stockings.
