My very first vintage quilt.
Probably a little more than what I'd like to have paid, but based on the prices I've seen in the antique shops, it was a steal.
It's still up in the air where you'll be seeing it next...but wherever it's spot, it's bound to make a statement.

ReplyDeleteso very lovely! i love me some vintage quilts! i have two of my grandmothers...one of which my great-grandmother made for my mom when she was a baby and the other two i got off of ebay. happy weekend

ReplyDeleteWhen I was young I got two antique quilts at an auction. One is all hand stitched and I think it's called grandmothers flower garden. My daughters room was pink and green at the time and the quilt had the perfect green. The other one was a log cabin quilt and it came apart after years of abuse. It was orange and blues, don't think I ever liked it.
