Found another crocheted blanket...

for a dollar.

You'd think one might know when to quit.

Evidently, not this one.

Happy hunting, everyone.

  6. Oh, I've got a collection of these too! I started buying them for a DIY idea I had (still not done), and now I can't stop. I'd have had to jump at a $1 one, too.

  10. I adore the crocheted blankets! You are lucky to find ones in such great colors! By the way, I thought you would appreciate the fact that I found one of the books you recommended in your guest-post for "The Art of Reading".... at the thrift store! (Heaven is for Real) Happy thrifting!

  14. I have a few that my grandmother made me years ago...any tips on caring for them? mine seem so rough and stiff. would love some ideas on making them more soft and fluffy so I would want to cuddle up with them.
    Thanks!

    1. I do wash them...on a gentle cycle...and I HAVE put them in the dryer...and they've done great. I guess the softness will really and truly depend on what type of yarn was used...
I know this was no help to you! I'm sorry!

  15. I want to cry every time I see them at Goodwill. My husband laughs at me because I look at him and say, "there is so much love in this, I can't believe someone would get rid of it... AND IT's ONLY A DOLLAR....."
