I was beside myself when I ran across this old fireplace screen at the Goodwill a few weeks ago. I knew I had to have something to block the baby from a roaring, hot fire this winter, so when I saw this propped up against the wall with a $5 price tag on it, I snatched it right up!
Now, don't get me wrong, I do enjoy a bit of gold here and there, but this . . . was just a little too much.
Luckily, we all know what a little spray paint can do . . .
It did just what I needed.
